Banquet Policies

Minimum Requirements - The minimum food expenditure for the Lakeview Room is $4,000.00 The Crystal Ballroom minimum food expenditure is $6,000.00. Room capacity will vary with set-up. To reserve both the Lakeview Room and Crystal Ballroom, combined minimum food expenditure of $10,000.00 is required.

Deposit - A deposit is required on all non-member parties before reservations can be confirmed. This amount will be stated on your reservation contract. Your deposit is non-refundable and will be applied toward your final bill.

Sponsorship - If a Lafayette Club member in good standing will sponsor your function, there is a 30% room rental discount.

Payment of the Bill - Non-members/non-sponsored parties are required to pay the entire estimated bill prior to the date of the function: 50% of the estimated bill is due three months prior, and the remaining 50% is due two weeks prior to the event.

Guarantee - A guarantee for the number of guests is required 72 hours prior to food service. You will be billed based on this guarantee. We will not be prepared to serve more than the guarantee. If no guarantee is submitted, we will consider the last number given to be the guarantee.

Children - All children must have adult supervision at all times. This is for the protection of the children and our facility. Additional staff fees may apply based on the number of children in attendance of your event.

Catering - All food items, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and wines must be purchased from Lafayette Club. A meal must be purchased with every function. Lunch food minimum is $14.00++ per person until 3:00 pm. Dinner food minimum is $27.00++ per person. Prices are subject to change. There is an additional charge when offering more than one entrée. Please limit your selection to two items.

Food Regulations - Due to Health Department regulations and Club Policy, food and beverages consumed on the premises must be provided by Lafayette Club. Health Department regulations prohibit us from allowing guests to take home extra food or beverages.

Wedding Ceremonies - We regret that we do not host wedding ceremonies.

Wedding Gifts and Cards - Please designate a person from your function to take care of all wedding gifts and cards. Please have them removed from the room upon leaving the area. Lafayette Club is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Photographs - Pictures taken on the grounds and golf course are not permitted. Rental of space at Lafayette Club is limited to the banquet area.

Deliveries - Please do not have flowers, cakes, or any perishable items delivered more than two hours before your function. Placecards, guest books, etc. may be sent to the Catering Office several days in advance. Also, make sure all such items are clearly labeled with your function name. Lafayette Club is not responsible for any articles left after the function.

Music and Entertainment - It is important for your Entertainment to contact the Catering Office regarding set-up times, location of equipment, power needs, etc. Lafayette Club reserves the right to control the volume of your entertainment. We would be happy to assist with referrals.

Room Rental - All non-member functions are subject to a banquet room rental fee. See Room Rates.

Hotel Rooms - Hotel rooms are available to your guests. Please contact the Front Office for reservations.

Smoking - Lafayette Club is a smoke-free facility.

Liquor Shots - Shots of liquor are not served at Lafayette Club.
