Twilight Couples Events are targeted at members who want to play 9 holes of golf on a weekday evening, meet other members of the Club, and socialize. Golf is followed by a social hour and an outdoor cookout.

A select number of traditional couples’ golf competitions are also held each summer. These include: Memorial Day Couples’ Event, Mr. and Mrs. Guest Day, and Mr. & Mrs. Tournament. All include an outdoor cookout and drinks following golf. Sign up for these Mixed Member Events begins three weeks prior to each event, unless otherwise noted.

2012 Mixed Member Golf Events:

MEMORIAL DAY COUPLES EVENT (May 28)
A traditional event at Lafayette open to member couples. Couples may form their own foursomes or have the Golf Shop pair you. The event consists of an 18-hole round with a 1:15 pm shotgun start followed by an outdoor cookout in the Fairway Room and adjacent patio.

MR. & MRS. GUEST DAY (June 2)
An extremely popular and traditional event at Lafayette. A member couple may invite a guest couple. The event consists of an 18-hole round with a 2:00 pm shotgun start followed by an outdoor cookout and refreshments in the Fairway Room and adjacent patio.

TWILIGHT COUPLES EVENTS (June 20, July 18 & August 17)
These fun events are designed for members who want to play 9 holes of golf on a weekday evening, meet other members of the Club, and socialize. The evening starts with a 5:30 pm shotgun followed by an outdoor cookout.

MR. & MRS. TOURNAMENT (September 1)
An extremely popular and traditional event at Lafayette, this is the premier couples event at the Club. A member couple may sign up with another couple or the Golf Shop will pair twosomes. The event consists of an 18-hole round with a 1:00 pm shotgun start followed by an outdoor cookout and refreshments in the Fairway Room and adjacent patio.
